Embroidery Heart Workshop
The Embroidery Heart Project Ornament is a wonderful representation of craft and creativity, showcasing the beautiful tradition of hand quilting. Hand quilting involves stitching together layers of fabric, including the quilt top, batting, and backing, using only a needle and thread. This meticulous method allows for detailed and intricate designs, as well as enhanced durability.
In this workshop, we created a lattice of backstitch and running stitches to create the design that we then cut out a heart and hand quilted the ornament.
